即使在战争中，小孩依然是小孩：
本游戏为主机平台带来有关小孩子的全新剧情──玩家要保护并照顾小孩，让他们以小孩独有的方式，在饱经战火摧残的环境中努力活下去。教导、教育，并建立情感羁绊，同时奋斗求生、克服万难，完成这个独特的故事。
游戏特色：
・由真实事件启发、写实又引人入胜的体验。
・做出毫不留情、激荡情绪的生死决策。
・打造物品，如：武器、床铺、炉子、玩具等。
・应付随机或预设情境，甚至创造属于自己的情境和角色！
・游戏导入了孩童生还者，使玩家可透过小孩的视角体验战争。
・可在白天阶段使用的额外避难所「large mansion」（大厦）──PlayStation®4版专属！
