透过刚毕业的FBI特工Anne Tarver的视角，亲身体验失踪案调查。
跟经验丰富的调查员搭档Maria Halperin一同前往Virginia州美丽的Burgess郡和僻静小镇Kingdom，有个小男孩凭空消失，但却无人知晓原因。
