Caltrain tiene dos locomotoras EMD MP15DC versátiles para gestionar varias tareas especiales, que en sus orígenes se usaban en Southern Pacific.
La MP15DC es una locomotora multifunción que se construyó de forma tradicional con cabina al final, pero que cuenta con bogies capaces de proporcionar un servicio de vía general. Electro-Motive (EMD) construyó la MP15DC entre 1974 y 1980, y es una locomotora de cuatro ejes (B-B) de 1500 caballos (1119 kW) que funciona con un motor EMD de 12 cilindros de la serie 645 y un generador D.C. Se construyeron un total de 351 MP15.
La MP15DC de TSW está adornada con la colorida librea de Caltrain, y es una recreación increíble que le dará la oportunidad de conducirla en una gran variedad de tareas auténticas.
